<h3 class="wp-block-heading">You do not know what is inside</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Getting the model file does not mean getting the full story, because you usually never see the training data. Professor Landay warns that you may not know what sits inside the model or how it behaves with your information.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Code safety</h3>

Any rules might also apply only to future models. Still, the direction is clear. Both countries are starting to treat AI models the way they treat weapons technology. In other words, this moment, where some of the world&#8217;s best AI is free to download, may not last.</p>
